Exel Transportation Services wins 2007 excellence award from Datacap Inc.

WESTERVILLE, Ohio (Feb. 19, 2008) – - Exel Transportation Services (ETS), an operating unit of Exel, the North American leader in supply chain management and a Deutsche Post World Net company, was recently honored with a 2007 Capture Excellence Award by Datacap Inc. Datacap is a leading provider of flexible capture and forms processing software solutions.

ETS received the award in the "Excellence in Invoices" category. After implementing Taskmaster for Invoices software in 2007, ETS realized substantial cost and time savings. The software optically reads invoices and automatically pulls relevant data including vendors, invoice amounts and purchase order numbers. Previously, manual data entry was the only way to capture this necessary information.
