Frito-Lay presents Exel Transportation Services with the Platinum Award for Carrier Excellence

WESTERVILLE, Ohio (March 20, 2008) – Exel Transportation Services (ETS), an operating unit of Exel, the North American leader in supply chain management and a Deutsche Post World Net company, has received the Platinum Award for Carrier Excellence from Frito-Lay. Frito-Lay is an Exel customer that makes snacks and convenience foods for the North American market.

The Platinum Award is presented to Frito-Lay road carriers that achieve exceptional performance in the areas of customer service, job knowledge and resource management. ETS achieved a perfect score in numerous categories including exceeding on-time service, exhibiting a strong sense of urgency and maintaining a strong partnership with Frito-Lay.
